Böser

Böser (ボーゼル) is an avatar created from a human host by Chaos to serve as king of the demon tribe and advance his goals in the world.

Characters who become Böser receive the armor of Böser, cease to age and become capable of using Alhazard's mana-channeling power.

Typically, only the most corrupt and evil humans are selected by Chaos for this role. However, in times following a Böser's death but before Chaos has selected a new soul, any human who grabs Alhazard can be transformed into a new Böser.

It may be possible for Bösers created in this fashion to reject the dark power and return to normal humans, as in the case of Altemüller.

Humans who have already been empowered by Chaos and half-monsters can use Alhazard without transforming into Böser, as demonstrated when Sonya and Geier used the sword.

New Bösers are instructed in their mission by a Velzerian evil, such as Rag, Ferakia or Grove, and later Geier.
