Crimzo

Crimzo is a red moon that orbits the planet of Gaia. It is the location of the Chaos Gate and is inhabited by a race of humans called Crimzonians, who have a significantly longer lifespan than the humans of Gaia.

The Crimzonian population itself is divided into gifted elites who can use “true magic” and the common people. The elite magic users are the de facto rulers of the moon.

A thousand years before the beginning of the Langrisser storyline, the Crimzonian rulers forcibly deported their weaker brethren to Gaia, where they became known as Crimzo Landers.

Free of their weaker people, the Crimzonians opened the Chaos Gate to forge a pact with the gods in exchange for the power to dominate Gaia.

After several centuries of oppression, the people of Gaia rebelled. During the war, an incredible blast of energy was fired at Crimzo that knocked the moon out of its orbit. In its current state, the moon takes 200 years to complete one revolution.
