The Crystal Bearer is the unnamed mother of Landius and Emily.
When Aizel floods Recrio, she takes Landius and the Sage's Crystal and tries to escape from the rising waters. Her husband stays behind to guard Emily.
Brenda finds her during her search for survivors. Her crystal and child are entrusted to the Gohtal village elder.
