Devil Axe
The Devil Axe is an ancient blood soaked weapon, which bears an ancient curse. Its enchantments come from a long forgotten time. Those who have wielded the axe are said to be filled with fear so that the only suitable wielders are berserkers.
In Langrisser MD, the weapon is found Kaiser Digos’ possession in the same vault as Langrisser, while in the remakes it is found in the Forest of Death, Riggs Forest.
In Langrisser II MD, Scenario 7 an Assassin, carries the Devil Axe, upon his defeat, Erwin obtains it. While in the remakes it is obtained from the opening quiz when saying a person of Darkness is to be worshipped.
In Langrisser III the Devil Axe is obtained when examining a group of three trees, doing nothing before a sprite causes it to vanish in boredom before a voice asks what “Why have you come here,” responding to it nonchalantly causes it to question your intelligence. It, therefore, thinks you can handle the Devil Axe.
