The great magician leader of the spiritualist troops of the Rayguard Empire. He knew the revival of Böser, prince of darkness, was close at hand. At one time he studied under Jessica. Egbert seeks ultimate power and that desire gnaws at his very soul.

- Egbert saw through Böser's machinations and created the plan to seize Alhazard. Backed into a corner, he showered the Descendants of Light with the power of the Dark Dragon Sorcerors. He was killed in a single blow by Erwin, who found an opening.
