Fauvel is the archbishop of the Great Temple of Light and the father of Sophia. He appears in Scenario 12 as a non-playable character in need of rescue.
He is 48 years old, very wise and the de facto protector of the east entrance to the Lushiris Gate. He defends the gate by himself when the imperial army attempts to invade. He then joins the party and tells them about the holy beast.
After Langrisser and Alhzard are sealed by Sophia, he comments that if his daughter doesn't leave any descendants then humanity won't be able to unseal Langrisser if the need arises in the future.
