Gotahl
The starting point of Langrisser IV.
Gotahl is the hometown of Ricky and Rachel, and where Landius lived since his birthplace was destroyed. In order to provoke the people of Gotahl to revolt, Gizarof raised their taxes to unbearable levels, taking the initiative to 'quell the rebellion' when they did so. His true motive was to take the Sage's Crystal, which had been housed in Gotahl, and he does so despite the efforts of Landius, Ricky and the villagers.
