Wehlmann
Wehlmann, reign name of Böser I, is the founding king of Velzeria and brother of Nalianth.
His father's friend Bernalich teaches him to master the Powers of Darkness.
As King of Velzeria, Wehlmann makes war on Elthlead and Gilgard in an attempt to unify the continent. He is initially repelled when Elthlead is granted the Power of Light and unites with Gilgard.
However, Wehlmann used his most powerful arts to summon the forces of darkness directly into the world of Gaia.
Varlin, the court magician who granted the Power of Light to Elthlead, deployed an army of mechanical knights in a surprise attack on Velzeria.
The attack devastated the neighboring Kingdom of Beizel and left the remaining three powers in a stalemate that lasted 50 years.
